General Conference

The gospel of Jesus Christ teaches that He lives and that God loves, hears, and speaks to His children. His personalized guidance and inspiration may be experienced through the counsel of living prophets and apostles from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

All are welcome and invited to hear messages about the hope, peace, and eternal life made possible because of Jesus Christ during the annual broadcast of general conference on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, 2024.

“General conference provides an opportunity to receive personal revelation as general Church leaders give counsel and direction. We encourage members to listen to, study, ponder, and apply the counsel given,” stated the First Presidency of the Church (letter to congregation leaders, August 31, 2023).

The next global broadcast, which originates every six months from the Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, will consist of five unique 2-hour sessions over two days:

Saturday, April 6
General sessions at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 6 p.m.*

Sunday, April 7
General sessions at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

*Mountain Daylight Time

How Can I Watch or Listen Live?

All conference sessions will be streamed live on the live broadcasts page of ChurchofJesusChrist.org in more than 70 languages. You can also watch and listen on the General Conference YouTube channel; Gospel Stream app, Gospel Library; and other radio, television, satellite, and digital channels.

Worldwide Relief Society Devotional

President Russell M. Nelson and the Relief Society General Presidency — President Camille N. Johnson, Sister J. Anette Dennis, and Sister Kristin M. Yee — will speak to women during a worldwide Relief Society devotional on Sunday, March 17, 2024.

The devotional will commemorate the purpose and founding of the Relief Society, which took place on March 17, 1842. All members of Relief Society and young women turning 18 in 2024 are invited to participate. Following the short devotional messages, sisters will have the opportunity to participate in a local testimony meeting where they can share their faith in Jesus Christ.

Stake or ward Relief Societies are encouraged to gather for the devotional and testimony meeting on the evening of Sunday, March 17. Where travel constraints make gathering in the evening difficult, members may wish to gather in person at another time that day. Leaders are also encouraged to stream the devotional and testimony meeting to those who cannot attend in person. Relief Society sisters can connect globally through social media with the hashtag #JesusChristIsRelief.

The brief prerecorded video will be available several days before the event in American Sign Language, Cantonese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. Closed captioning is available in English on supported devices.

The video can be accessed at the ChurchofJesusChrist.org broadcast page and in Gospel Library. The video may also be streamed on-demand from:

Abide in The Light Women's Conference

Come gather together and be edified as together we Abide in the Light of Christ.

The conference will include a guest speaker, edifying classes, and a luau lunch.

We are excited to welcome our guest speaker, Loren Dalton. Brother Dalton is an author and former mission president. In his book, You Are Receiving Revelation, Now Act On It, Brother Dalton helps readers recognize and act on the voice of the Spirit.

In a 2019 Ensign College devotional, he said, “Joseph Smith said, “The Holy Ghost is a revelator.  No man can receive the Holy Ghost without receiving revelations.” Now, I know some of you are saying, “Well, what does that say about me? I have never had a revelation!”  I want you to know you are wrong. You are indeed.”
